FAQ

Will I receive a Medal?

Yes, if you finish the race you will receive a custom medal.

Is it mandatory to complete Obstructions?

Elite racers are required to complete each obstruction in order to maintain their elite band. Should they be unable to complete an obstruction, they will forfeit their elite status, however, they can still complete the event as an “open” runner.

Obstructions are on a first come first served basis. In the event that you cannot complete an obstruction, you will be required to go to the back of the line (If any) and attempt the obstruction again.

All other runners (non-elite) will not be forced to complete an obstruction. Team mates and fellow racers will be allowed to help each other conquer the obstruction. If you are not comfortable attempting the obstruction, you may pass it but, we suggest in order to not miss out on the fun you at least attempt each obstruction once.

Can I enter as a Team?

Should you enter as an elite racer, you will not be allowed to enter as a team.

Teams may enter any quantity – bulk discounts can be requested by mailing info@grindsa.co.za. Teams are also allowed to help each other during the obstructions.
